Art From The Bark Kathy Overcash is a JRWC woodcarver and instructor. Her and Dennis Overcash have opened a woodcarving studio, store and art gallery. Mountain Woodcarvers Go to Mountain Woodcarvers where every woodcarver from beginner to professional can find quality, affordable woodcarving tools and supplies to make their carving more fun and enjoyable! Compare prices. Chipping Away Chipping Away offers quality woodcarving tools and supplies. National Woodcarvers Association (NWCA) Join the National Woodcarvers Association. The NWCA is probably best known for its publication, Chip Chats. Six times a year, NWCA members receive Chip Chats, a magazine full of “how-to” information, show results, features on woodcarvers, and more. Klingspor’s Woodworking Shop Klingspor’s Woodworking Shop carries a wide array of woodcarving and woodworking supplies and tools.

Woodcarving Illustrated Woodcarving Illustrated is a wood carving site dedicated to the wood carving. They provide carving forums, free patterns, carving instruction, 3D carvings and lots more. You must check out their website. Heinecke Wood Products Heinecke Wood Products sales some of the highest quality carving woods available. They carry a large supply of block basswood and plaques for relief and chip carving, as well as thin wood for ornaments and other specialties. Remember, at Heinecke Wood Products you can order any size block you want with no minimum size order. They specialize in custom rough outs, of which we do not sell, but produce only for the individual artisan. WoodBeeCarver The Art Of Wood Carving by Don Mertz. Don has a wealth of knowledge on his woodcarving site. This is one of my favorite sites. Don says “Would be carvers would be carvers if they would carve wood.”
