Where woodcarvers come together to learn, teach and have fun carving. Carving Roosters with Calvin  Calvin Winfree taught club members to carve roosters and chickens during the October 2011 workshop.  Calvin is our regional expert on carving roosters from Birch tree branches.  Calvin’s step by step teaching process resulted in students completing at least one rooster during the workshop.  He covered carving the basic rooster structure, curling the rooster tail, painting and mounting the rooster.  Lots of carving fun!
